Sebastiao M. Sousa

Sebastiao M. Sousa, 83, of Cranston, a devoted servant of the Lord, passed away Monday, March 21, 2022 at home surrounded by his loving family.  He was the beloved husband for 53 years of Maria L. (Dias) Sousa.  Born in Porto, Portugal, he was the son of the late Horacio and Joaquina D. (Magalhaes) Sousa.

Mr. Sousa was a parts driver in the automotive industry for many years before retiring.  He spent many years serving the Lord as a choir director and music minister in his church.

Besides his wife Maria, he was the devoted father of Luis S. De Sousa and his wife Luisa of Warwick, Ruth E. Finley and her husband Bruce of Webster, MA, Samuel F. De Sousa and his wife Lynn of Warwick and Sarah R. Stevens and her husband Jerry of Cranston; cherished grandfather of eleven; loving great-grandfather of two; and dear brother of Eunice Goncalves of North Providence and Ruth Faustino of East Providence.

His Funeral Service will be held on Monday, March 28th at 11 a.m. in the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Ave., Cranston, followed by burial at Highland Memorial Park, Johnston.  VISITING HOURS are Sunday from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.
