Sean P. McPhillips

58, of Warwick, passed away on Wednesday, July 17, 2024. Born in Springfield, MA he was the son of the late James P. & Pamela McPhillips and Nancy (Roach) McPhillips.

Sean worked for the state of Rhode Island for 20 years. Despite his challenges in life, he was a dedicated employee and never missed a day of work. He was also an avid sports enthusiast. The Red Sox were his favorite team along with the Patriots and the Celtics. His real passion in life was his love of music, whether it was rock ‘n’ roll, country or the good old Classics. Many wonderful memories were made at the tent in Warwick with family and friends. So always remember to take the time, slow down and listen to the music!!! A special thanks to all our family and friends, CNA’s and nurses who helped Sean navigate through life! Especially the wonderful staff at Brentwood Nursing Home in Warwick. They treated Sean as if he was their own family. 

Sean is survived by his loving sister, Holly Henderson and her husband John of Coventry; dear niece and nephews, Ashly McPhillips, Cameron Henderson and Shane Henderson; stepbrother Chris Droitcour. He is also survived by many beloved cousins. 

His funeral service will be held in the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston on Tuesday, July 30, 2024 at 7:00 pm. Visitation will precede the service from 4:00 – 7:00 pm. Burial will be private.
