of Warwick, RI formerly of Cranston, RI entered into eternal life on Thursday, December 10, 2020.
He is the beloved and devoted husband of Barbara A. Badolato for 56 years.
Born in Winthrop, Massachusetts raised in Revere, Massachusetts. He was the son of Domenico Badolato and Caroline Badolato.He was the cherished nephew and godson of Gregory Badolato and Dolly Badolato.
Sam is survived by his loving children Caroline Marcantonio, Carla Manni-Childs and her husband Dean, Kyle Badolato and his wife Michelle.
Grandchildren: Brandon Badolato, Gio Jesse Marcantonio, Kyle Badolato Jr, Gabriel Badolato, Giabella Ana Childs, and Sebastian Badolato. The late Brother in law Fred Procaccianti, Brother in law Rudy Procaccianti and his fiance Bonnie Briggs – Nephew Neil Procaccianti his wife Jen and their children Payton and Hunter, His Neice Lea her husband Pat and their children Lilyana and Siena.
We would like to also mention Auntie Dora Waterman, Buddy and Marilyn Olerio, Jack Ranallo, and Breanna Burnham for their constant care and concern for Sam.
Sam was a graduate of Malden High and attended Boston University. Sam’s extensive background in the Transportation Industry followed him throughout his life. He started as a boy working in his family business Badolato Trucking making pickups from the produce market and Hercules Trucking. His presence in the industry continued until his passing and he is well respected and adored by so many.
His experience and expertise has contributed to the continued success of Trans-Link. He has been working on the side of his daughter Carla for over twenty years, his son Kyle for over 10, his daughter Caroline for over a year and his grandson Brandon was recently added to the company making another generation of Badolato’s to join the transportation industry. He has taught us so much and has helped our company in its continued success. Our Trans-Link team was honored this past May 2020 for celebrating our 20th Anniversary and we were all grateful that he was able to celebrate with us.
Sam loved his Sunday dinners, holidays, football, and traveling to NH with his family, Most important to him was his family. He always looked forward to his frequent trips to visit his family in Revere, these visits brought him back to his wonderful childhood memories.
He was a proud member of the Holy Name Society, United Commercial Travelers, and presently the Sons and Daughters of Italy.
Everyone who knew Sam knows he adored his beautiful wife Barbara (Bears), he loved to hear her sing, and was so very proud to have her by his side. Together they have taught their children the importance of family and Italian traditions. We will always save a seat at the head of our table (his favorite seat), Sam welcomed everyone into his home with open arms.
Due to COVID restrictions, his funeral services are private. A memorial gathering will be held at a later date.
