SARAH (SHAHINIAN) TAHAJIAN

89, of Capitol Ridge, Smith St., Providence, formerly of West Blue Ridge Rd., Cranston, passed away on Wednesday, November 14, 2012 at Philip Hulitar Hospice Inpatient Center in Providence. She was the beloved wife of the late Leo Tahajian, Jr. Born in Providence, She was the daughter of the late Markar and Gardar (Balian) Shahinian.

Sarah was an office manager and accountant at the former Crown Chemical in Providence for 13 years before retiring. She was a parishioner at Sts. Sahag & Mesrob Armenian Apostolic Church, Providence and was a member of the Daughters of Vartan.

She was the devoted mother of Leo M. Tahajian and his wife Elvira of Providence, David W. Tahajian and his wife Catherine of Belmont, MA and Carolyn A. Haroutunian and her husband Richard of Lexington, MA; loving grandmother of five; and dear sister of Peggy DeFlice of North Providence and the late Susan Lewis and John Shahinian.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Funeral Service on Monday, November 19th at 11 a.m. in Sts. Sahag & Mesrob Armenian Apostolic Church, Providence, followed by interment at Swan Point Cemetery, Providence.

VISITING HOURS are Sunday from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. in the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Ave., Cranston.
