82, of Scituate, passed away September 27, 2024 in Piedimonte Matese Hospital in Italy. Born in Capriati, Italy, he was the son of the late Antonio and Antonetta (Ferri) Rocchio
He leaves behind his beloved wife Vincenza (Notorantonio), and their sons Antonio, Francesco, and Roberto. Sante was also a proud father-in-law to Roberta, Dina, and Lisa, and an adored grandfather to Robert, Caroline, Fay, Frank Jr., Katherine, and Adelina. Sante is survived by his siblings, Frank Rocchio, Cosmo Rocchio, and Anna Rocchio, and was predeceased by his brother, John Rocchio. He also leaves behind his brothers-in-law Antonio "Frank" Cenami, Roberto Notorantonio, and Nicola Testa (deceased), his sisters-in-law Barbara Rocchio, Annamaria Testa, and the late Sandra Rocchio and Anna Rocchio.
Sante was a man full of life and passion, dedicating his time to his family and friends. He enjoyed many blissful moments at his vacation home in Florida and his family home in Capriati, Italy, where he loved hosting loved ones. An avid cook and wine maker, Sante cherished helping his wife Vincenza make traditional Italian delicacies like sausages, prosciutto, and tomato sauce.
Sante had a love for the game of soccer. He especially enjoyed watching Italian soccer teams, often rising in the middle of the night to catch a match. Sante found great joy in the achievements of his family and extended that pride to his many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
His life was deeply rooted in his faith, as he was a lifelong member of St. Rocco’s Church. Sante Rocchio's legacy of love, dedication, and passion for life will forever be remembered by all who knew him. He leaves a lasting impact on the hearts of his family and friends.
May he rest in peace.
His funeral will be held on Thursday, October 17th at 10 a.m. from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Ave., Cranston, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Rocco Church, 931 Atwood Ave., Johnston at 11 a.m. Burial will be at St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. VISITING HOURS are Thursday Morning from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m.
