SALVATORE A. MONTI

Salvatore A. Monti 76, of Hartford Avenue, Johnston, died Wednesday, December 26, 2007 at Rhode Island Hospital, Providence. He was the husband of the late Marie C. (Cardillo) Monti. Born in Providence; he was the son of the late Antonio and Jessie (Rave) Monti. Mr. Monti was the owner of the former Sal's Truck Sales in Johnston for over thirty-five years. He was a US Air Force veteran serving during the Korean War. He is survived by his children Jacqueline M. DeRita of Westborough, MA, Robert L. Monti, Sr. of Johnston and Marie Prescott of Westborough, MA. He was the grandfather of Robert L. Monti, Jr., Brieanna M. Monti, Brian L. Monti, Chloe M. Prescott and Benjamin M. Prescott.
