SALVATORE " MUSHROOM " FAMIANO
Salvatore "Mushroom" Famiano, 94, of North Providence, passed away Tuesday February 10, 2009 at home. He was the husband of the late Anna ( Pezzullo) Famiano. Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Carmine and Lucia (Massara ) Famiano. Salvatore was the owner & operator of the former Fams Tile Company.
He is survived by his daughter; Sheila A. Silveira,and her husband Frank of North Providence, his grandchildren; Jennifer Clement, Sabrina and Jason Silveira. He was the brother of Jerry Famiano, Marie Moser, Lucille Karilampi and the late Charles, Anthony, Carmino, Danny, Frank, Assunta and Filomena Famiano. His funeral service will be held on Saturday at 10 a.m. in the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME 1278 Park Ave. Cranston, followed by interment in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.
Visiting Hours Friday 5-8 p.m.
