78, of Puritan Ave., Cranston passed away on Tuesday, May 22, 2012 at home surrounded by his loving family. He was the husband of Agnese (Cannella) DeLuca. He was born in Itri, Italy a son of the late Vincenzo and Concetta Chinappi. Mr. DeLuca was a mason employed by Gino Marini Construction Co. for many years until his retirement. Beside his wife he is survived by his children, Anthony DeLuca and his wife Brittany Boyle DeLuca of Richmond, Anna Rita DeLuca of Westerly and Domenico and his wife Melissa Croce DeLuca of Cranston. He is survived by 7 siblings in Italy and pre-deceased by 2 siblings in Italy. He is also survived by 6 Grandchildren and predeceased by 4 grandchildren. He was a veteran of the Italian Navy and a member of and bartender at St. Mary's Feast Society for many years. Mr. DeLuca was an avid Hunter, fisherman, master gardener and loved baking Italian bread for his family and friends. His funeral will be held on Friday at 10am from the NARDOLLLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Ave., Cranston followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Mary's Church, Cranston St., Cranston at 11am. VISITING HOURS Thursday 5-8pm. Interment will take place in St. Anns Cemetery, Cranston.
