SALVATORE BUONO
SALVATORE BUONO, 83, of Old Oak Ave., Cranston, died Tuesday, October 2, 2007 at Miriam Hospital in Providence. He was the beloved husband for 60 years of Zoey L. "Louise" (Parker) Buono.
Born in Providence, a son of the late Aniello and Raffaela (Zaccarina) Buono, he moved to Cranston in 1958. Mr. Buono worked for the U.S. Postal Service in Providence for 30 years, before retiring in 1988. He was a WW-II Navy veteran.
Besides his wife, he was the devoted father of Russel S. Buono and his wife Maggie of Warwick, Joseph M. Buono of Warwick, and Lorna Marie Farrow and her husband Richard of Cranston; loving grandfather of four; loving great-grandfather of two; and dear brother of Ralph Buono of Johnston, Anna Hurley of Warwick, and the late Anthony, Vincent and Frank Buono.
Funeral from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME, 1278 Park Ave., Cranston on Friday at 8 a.m., followed by interment with Military Honors in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston at 9 a.m.
VISITING HOURS THURSDAY 4-8 p.m.
