SAHAK SAHAKIAN
SAHAK SAHAKIAN, 87, of Briggs St., Cranston, passed away Monday, March 17, 2008 at Cedar Crest Nursing Center in Cranston. He was the beloved husband of Vehanoush (Semerjian) Sahakian.
Born in Bulgaria, a son of the late Bedros and Victoria (Narinian) Sahakian, he later lived in Lebanon and Armenia, before settling in RI in 1976.
Mr. Sahakian worked as a tool maker for many years.
Besides his wife, he was the devoted father of Mary Kabakian, Shake Chakmakian and Perchuhy Hamamjian, all of Cranston; loving grandfather of six; dear brother of Leontine Lefian of Cranston and the late Mary Grigorian, and loving uncle of many nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Funeral Service on Wednesday at 1:00 p.m. in Sts. Vartanantz Armenian Apostolic Church, 402 Broadway, Providence, followed by interment in North Burial Ground Cemetery, Providence.
Visiting hours are respectfully omitted.
