RUTH (SANSON) DAMIANI
RUTH (SANSON), DAMIANI, 87, of Normandy Dr., Cranston, passed away Monday, April 13, 2009 at Riverview Health Care in Coventry. She was the beloved wife of Guido "Jack" Damiani.
Born in Warrington, England, a daughter of the late James and Ethel (Jarman) Sanson, she came to the U.S. in 1946 settling in Cranston. Ruth was an active member of the Altar Guild at St. David's on the Hill Episcopal Church. Besides her husband, she was the devoted mother of Jean Parisi of Newport, RI, David Damiani of NC, and Mark Damiani and his wife Mary of Colchester, CT; loving grandmother of Philip Bonitati, John Bernardo and Andrea Maglioli; and loving great-grandmother of Talia, Ryan, Giana, Emily, Johnny and Keiara. Her funeral will be held Thursday at 9:00 a.m. from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME, 1278 Park Ave., Cranston, followed by a Requiem Eucharist in St. David's on the Hill Episcopal Church, Cranston at 10:00 a.m. Burial will be at RI Veterans Cemetery, Exeter.
