RUDOLPH RUGGIERI

71, of Rondo Street Cranston, passed away on Monday, November 1, 2010 at Cedar Crest Nursing Home. He was the beloved husband of 45 years to Joann (Paliotti) Ruggieri. Born in Providence, he was a son of the late Bambino and Lucia (Ruggieri) Ruggieri. Mr. Ruggieri was a foreman for P. Ruggieri, Inc. for 50 years. He was a member of the Carpenters Union Local 94 of Warwick. He was an avid golfer and played in multiple leagues at Cranston Country Club. He was a season ticket holder for the New England Patriots and a devoted fan of the Boston Red Sox. He loved his dogs, Bogey, Bebo, Moses and Murdock. Besides his wife, he was the loving father of Karen Anderson and her husband Douglas of Exeter, David Ruggieri and his wife Lori of Cranston and Paul Ruggieri and his wife Cheryl of Milford, MA. Cherished Papa of Amanda and Alyssa Ruggieri, Kaitlyn and Brooke Anderson. Brother of Mary Zuena of Cranston, Rose Broski of Cranston, Jennie Morehead of Texas, Ann Manni of Cranston, Rita Palombo of Cranston, Dolores O'Brien of Cranston, Guido Ruggieri of Warwick, Peter Ruggieri of Johnston and the late Michael and Pasco Ruggieri. Son-in-Law of Helen (Sabetta) Paliotti. His funeral will be held on Friday at 10:00am from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME 1278 Park Avenue Cranston followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Mary's Church Cranston Street, Cranston at 11:00am. Burial will be in St. Ann's Cemetery, Cranston. VISITING HOURS: Thursday 4-8pm.
