RUDOLPH COLALUCA

81, of Johnston, RI, passed away peacefully on September 17, 2012. Born in Providence, RI, on August 14, 1931, he was the son of the late Maria Clara (Pezzullo) Colaluca and Adolpho Colaluca.
Rudy, or "Sonny" as he was affectionately known, was founder and owner of Enterprise Jewelry Creations and also of A.R.C. Jewelry Manufacturing. He loved music, and was a lifelong New York Giants and Yankees fan. His sharp wit and sense of humor kept all who knew him entertained and on their toes.

He was pre-deceased by his wife, Annette, son Rudy and stepson Robert Slater. He is survived by his children, Janna (Tom) Pederson of Portsmouth, RI, Paula Colaluca of North Providence and Christopher (Katie) Colaluca of Springfield, VA. He also leaves his sisters, Theresa (Sal) Castaldi of Johnston, RI, and Margaret (Ned) Handy of Cambridge, MA.
Rudy was the proud and loving grandfather of Annalisa (John) Pederson Chadwick, Emily Pederson, and Nicholas and Siena Colaluca. He was great-grandfather to Finnegan Thomas Chadwick. He also leaves many nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday, September 24, 2012, at 10:00 AM in Holy Cross Church, 645 Hartford Avenue, Providence. Burial will follow at St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.Visiting hours will be on Sunday, September 23 from 4:00 - 8:00 PM at Nardolillo Funeral Home, 1278 Park Ave, Cranston, RI 02910. Kindly omit flowers.
