75, of Wellington, Florida, formerly of Governor St., Providence, RI, passed away Monday, January 2, 2012. He was the beloved husband of the late Mary (Ferris) Zeytoundjian and cherished companion of Mary L. Clifford of Wellington. Born in Beirut, Lebanon, he was the devoted son of the late Khacher and Anna (Borzakian) Zeytoundjian.
Roupen was a commercial air conditioning pipefitter for many years before retiring. He was a U.S. Air Force veteran and a member of AMVETS; DAV; Veterans of Foreign Wars; American Legion; Bektish Shriners; Elks; Fraternal Order of Eagles; Overseas Lodge #40 Masons; Valley of Nashua - 32 degree; Armenian Revolutionary Federation; and United Association Pipefitters Local 537.
Besides his companion Mary, Roupen is survived by his dear sister Shake Khatchadurian, loving niece Nanor Khatchadurian and loving great-niece Angelee Jimenez all of Glendale, California. He was the beloved brother of the late Peter Hajian.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Funeral Service on Monday, January 9th at 11:00 a.m. in Sts. Vartanantz Armenian Apostolic Church, 402 Broadway, Providence, and may call at the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Ave., Cranston on Sunday from 5-8 p.m.
Private interment with military honors will take place on Tuesday, January 10th at Westlawn Cemetery in Lowell, MA.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to any Veterans Organization of your choice.
