ROSINA "ROSE" (SOLMONESE) DE MARCO

101, formerly of Cranston, passed away peacefully on Sunday, July 10, 2011 at the Riverview Healthcare Community, Coventry. Rose was the beloved wife of the late Joseph DeMarco. Born in Providence, she was a daughter of the late Giuseppe and Maria (Balsofiore) Solmonese.

She is survived by her loving son Joseph A. DeMarco and his wife Ann of West Warwick and St. Petersburg, FL. Rose was the cherished grandmother of three and the great-grandmother of eleven. She was the sister of the late George, Ralph, Gino, Charlie and Frank Solmonese, and Carrie Calise and Ann Francis.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. in St. Joseph Church, 845 Providence Street, West Warwick. Burial will be in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. VISITING HOURS are respectfully omitted. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Joseph Church, 845 Providence Street, West Warwick, RI 02893-1191.
