ROSEMARIE (ALTERIO) MARANDOLA

82, of Cranston, passed away peacefully on Sunday, March 17, 2013 at West Shore Health Center, Warwick. She was the beloved wife of the late Michael "Mickey" Marandola. Born in Providence, she was a daughter of the late William and Dora (Ricci) Alterio. Rosemarie was vice-president of the former Rhode Island Pearl Company for many years before her retirement. She was a member of the Business and Professional Women's Club of Providence, and served as its president in 1977. She was a former member of the Alpine Country Club, Bocateca and Municiple Country Clubs, both in Florida

She was the sister of Grace Paolilli of Warwick, William Alterio of Florida, and the late Lillian Lander, and Dorothy Mc Ginn. Rosemarie was the aunt of Gerald McGinn and his wife Donna of Warwick , Judy Hawkins and her husband Joseph of Moosup, CT, Lawrence Paolilli of Warwick, Robert Alterio of FL, and the late William McGinn, and William Alterio.

Funeral from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston on Friday at 10:00 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. in the Church of St. Mark, 1 Garden Court, Garden City, Cranston. VISITING HOURS Friday morning 9:00 -10:00 a.m. Interment will be in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be to Home & Hospice Care of RI, 1085 North Main Street, Providence, RI 02904-9826.
