72, of Scituate Vista Drive, passed away on Friday, June 21 at home in Cranston. Born in the Silver Lake neighborhood of Providence, RI, Rosemarie was the daughter of the late Urbano Prignano Sr. and Edith Prignano (Grieco) and the sister of Ret. Providence Police Colonel Urbano Prignano Jr.
She was married to Pasquale Maggiacomo of Cranston for close to 25 years.
She is survived by her loving son, Michael P. Maggiacomo and his wife Annette of Cranston, RI. Her cherished granddaughters, Gabriella and Sophia Maggiacomo and many loving aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and special friends.
Rosemarie was employed in the Rhode Island Judicial Branch as a clerk in the late 1960s, and the Department of Mental Health, Retardation, and Hospitals in the late 1970s. She also worked in the dental offices of Dr. Frank V. Tirrocchi in the 1980s.
Rosemarie relocated to Boca Raton, Florida from 1991 to 2014 and loved her condominium, the beach and pool, and shopping and friends all over Palm Beach County.
Funeral from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Ave., Cranston on Friday at 10:00 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. in Holy Apostles Church, 800 Pippin Orchard Rd., Cranston. Burial will follow in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. VISITING HOURS are Friday morning from 9:00 – 10:00 a.m.
