ROSE MARIE (VALENTE) PETROZZI

87, of Cranston, passed away on Sunday March 3, 2013, at Roger Williams Medical Center, Providence. Rose was the beloved wife of the late Rocco Petrozzi. She was born in Providence, a daughter of the late Daniel and Anna (Cardillo) Valente. Rose was an office manager for Metropolitan Insurance Co. for 10 years followed by her retirement. After her retirement, she worked as an office manager for her son Stephen's company, Tilt Truck Transporting, of Cranston. Rose was a member and past president of Our Legion of Mary, St Rocco's Church, member of the PTA for Cranston Schools, and a loving chef for her grandchildren on Saturday's.

She is survived by her children: Lucille Parrillo and husband Dennis of Johnston, Daniel Petrozzi of Cranston, Frank Petrozzi and wife Deborah of Johnston, Stephen Petrozzi and wife Laura of Scituate; cherished grandmother of Michael, Lauren, Stephen, Jr., and Nicholas; sister of Josephine Colafrancesco of Cranston, Nicholas DiRaimo of Cranston, Angelo Valente of Cranston, Anthony Valente of Cranston, and the late Jennie Ciambrone.

Her funeral will be held on Wednesday at 9 am from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 am in St. Rocco's Church, Johnston. Interment will take place at St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. VISITING HOURS: Tuesday 5-8 pm.
