87, of Cranston, passed away peacefully on Sunday, January 7, 2024. She was the loving wife of the late Armando Macaruso. Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Antonio Spaziano and Eva Giorgio Oakes.
Rose, affectionately known as the “eyelash lady” was a beautiful woman inside and out. She was a beautician and then later a receptionist, a job which she loved, at the Cranston Print Work for 16 years until her retirement at age 70.
She was the beloved mother of Paul A. Macaruso and his wife Lisa, and Lisa R. Medeiros and her husband Stephen. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Daniel, Ellen, Isabella, and Gabrielle Macaruso, Elizabeth Medeiros, and Stephanie Medeiros and her fiancé Nathan McGowan. Rose also leaves behind her loving sister Dorothy (Spaziano) Boone. What could be more beautiful than a rose? She will be greatly missed.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Mass of Christian Burial on Wednesday, January 10th, at 10:00 a.m. in St. Mary’s Church Cranston. Burial and visiting hours are respectfully private. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Looking Upwards Inc, http://www.lookingupwards.org
