Rose J. (Palumbo) Ivone

89, passed away on December 10, 2020.  She was the wife of the late Peter G. Ivone for sixty-five years.  Born in North Providence, she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Rosa (Valenza) Palumbo.

She worked at Our Lady of Fatima Hospital in dietary services.

She leaves her loving sons, Domenic and his wife Debbie of CA and Joseph and his husband Roger Varnes of AZ.  She also leaves her extended family, Bobby and Donna Cesario and Benjamin Horiguchi.  She was the sister of the late Michael, John, Anthony and Maurice LaBelle, Irene Martini, Mary Zuccaro and Louise D’Andrea.

A memorial mass will be held, Tuesday September 21, 2021 in St. Augustine Church, 20 Old Road, Providence.  VISITATION Tuesday from 9-10am in the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
