Rose P. “Barbara” Erb (Volpe)
96, of Cranston, died peacefully on Wednesday, September 7, 2022 at BriarCliff Manor in Johnston. She recently celebrated her 96th birthday on September 1st and was the last survivor of 12 siblings. She will be remembered for her kindness; endearment towards her family and pets; impeccable culinary skills; and a fondness for gardening and flowers.
Born in Cranston, she was the daughter of the late Benedetto and Lucrezia (Soave) Volpe; sister to the late Rose Impagliazzo, Nancy Golini, Mafalda Carnevale, Dorothy Bevilacqua, Josephine (Routolo) Ponanski, Angela Puopolo, Frank Volpe, Angelo Volpe, Nicholas Volpe, Carlo Volpe, and Benedetto Volpe. She is survived by her loving children Roy Erb Jr., Patricia Salvati, and James Erb; along with her son-in-law Paul Salvati and daughter-in-law Lisa Erb. She is also survived by her four loving grandsons, Cameron Salvati, Sean Salvati, Zachary Erb, and Christopher Erb. She leaves many nieces and nephews as well.
Her funeral will be held on Monday at 10:00 a.m. from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME, 1278 Park  Avenue, Cranston followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Rocco’s Church, Johnston at 11:00 a.m.  Burial will be in St. Ann’s Cemetery, Cranston.
