Rose A. (Cancelliere) DiPalma, 80, of Simmonsville Ave., Johnston, died Wednesday, July 4, 2007 at Philip Hulitar Inpatient Center in Providence. She was the beloved wife for 58 years of Angelo E. DiPalma.
Born in Providence, a daughter of the late Carlo and Theresa (Iovino) Cancelliere, she resided in Johnston most of her life.
Mrs. DiPalma worked in the jewelry industry for many years, before retiring.
Besides her husband, she was the devoted mother of Lori A. Ruggieri and her husband Steven of Centerville, MA, and the late Doreen A. DiPalma; loving grandmother of Alyssa and Adam Ruggieri; and dear sister of Marie Conca-Tannaccio and Isabelle "Tibby" Michelli, both of Johnston, Michael Cancelliere of Providence, Salvatore and Joseph Cancelliere, both of North Providence, and the late Anthony and Carl Cancelliere.
Funeral from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME, 1278 Park Ave., Cranston on Monday at 9 a.m., followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Rocco Church, 927 Atwood Ave., Johnston at 10 a.m. Burial will be in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.
