Rose (Franco) DeLuca, 102, of Cranston, passed away Monday, March 28, 2022. She was the beloved wife of the late Daniel A. DeLuca. Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Lena (Almagno) Franco.
Rose worked in the jewelry industry for many years before retiring. She was a member of the Young Pannese Social Club Women’s Auxiliary, and Cranston and Johnston Senior Centers. Rose was extremely proud of her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren with all their accomplishments.
She was the devoted mother of Diann L. Villanova and her husband Richard of Cranston/Coventry and Donald A. DeLuca and his wife Patricia of Bourne, MA; cherished grandmother of Carol-Anne Villanova-Hebert and her wife Renee, Christine Cooper and her husband Thomas, Donna Dube and her husband Christopher, Denise Cayer, Cindy DeRobbio and her husband Daniel, Susan Nabreski and her husband Andrew and Matthew DeLuca; loving great-grandmother of Paul, Brianna, Danny, Derek and Juliana; and dear sister of Angelo Franco of Warwick and FL, Raymond Franco of Johnston and the late Corrado Franco, Philip Franco, Ida Rossi, Clara Perrotti and Mary Parente.
Her funeral will be held on Friday, April 1st at 10 a.m. from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Ave., Cranston, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Mary’s Church, 1525 Cranston St., Cranston at 11 a.m. Burial will be at St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. VISITING HOURS are Thursday from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.
