ROSE M. (LOMBARI) D'AMBRA

Rose M. (Lombari) D'Ambra, 92, of Kitchener Rd. Johnston died Tuesday October 27, 2009 at Roger Williams Medical Center, Providence. She was the wife of the late Joseph D'Ambra. Born in Providence she was the daughter of the late Domenic and Lucia Lombari. Mrs. D'Ambra was employed as a seamstress for many years until retiring. She was a member of Holy Cross Church Women's Guild, Daughters of Isabella, Johnston Senior Citizens, an avid Red Sox fan and belonged to several bowling leagues including the Seniors Bowling League. She is survived by one daughter Jo Ann Matullo and her husband Raymond of Doylestown, PA, two sons Peter J. D'Ambra and his wife Diane of Johnston and Paul J. D'Ambra and his wife Laurie of North Providence, six grandchildren, two sisters Ann Pezza and Theresa Feula both of Cranston. She was the sister of the late Carmella Ferra, Marie Calore, Anthony, Joseph and Pat Lombari. Her funeral will be held on Friday at 9am from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME 1278 Park Ave. Cranston followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in Holy Cross Church Providence at 10am. Burial will be in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. VISITING HOURS Thursday 4-8pm.
