ROSE CIANCIO

Rose ( DiSegna) Ciancio 93, of Jastram St. Providence, passed away on Sunday October 4, 2009 at Roger Williams Medical Center, Providence. She was the beloved wife of the late Anthony Ciancio. She was born in Cranston a daughter of the late Luigi and Theresa (Ciano) DiSegna. Mrs. Ciancio was a Recorder of Deeds at the Providence City Hall, and also enjoyed playing BINGO. She is survived by her loving children, David A. Ciancio and his wife Emily Louise of Providence, Charlotte R. Ciancio of North Providence, her cherished grandchildren, David Ciancio Jr. and his wife Lynne , Kristen Perrotta and her husband John , Lisa Ciancio Ballato and her husband Kevin, Lynn Forlini, Laura-Jean Lee and her husband Timothy and Michael Ciancio, and was also the great grandmother of 7, and aunt of many nieces and nephews. Rose was the sister of the late, Maria DiVona, James, Thomas "Barry", Anthony "Sam", August "Augie", Arthur "Rip" William "John" and Charles DiSegna, and Lillian Tomaselli. Her funeral will be held on Thursday at 10 am from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME 1278 Park Ave. Cranston followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 am in St. Mary's Church Cranston St., Cranston. Burial will be in St. Ann's Cemetery , Cranston. VISITING HOURS: Wednesday 4-8 pm.
