ROSE (ROMANO) CAFARO

92, of Middlebridge Rd. Wakefield, passed away Sunday February 8, 2009 in Scalabrini Villa in North Kingstown. She was the wife of the late Peter A. Cafaro. Born in Providence, she was the youngest child of the late Antonio and Maria ( Mansuetti ) Romano. She was a past member of the Alpine Country Club and was an avid golfer. She is survived by her children; Carol A. Corrao of Wakefiled, and Peter M. Cafaro of Cranston. Mrs. Cafaro was the grandmother of Gregory M. Corrao of East Greenwich, Scott W. Corrao of Narragansett and Alyson E. Corrao of Wakefield, and was the great-grandmother of Ella Rose Corrao, Michael Shaw Corrao and Daniel William Corrao. Her funeral will be held on Wednesday at 9:45 a.m. from the Nardolillo Funeral Home SOUTH COUNTY CHAPEL 1111 Boston Neck Rd. (Rt 1A) Narragansett followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Mary Star of the Sea Church 864 Point Judith Rd. Narragansett at 11 a.m. Burial will be in St. Francis Cemetery, Pawtucket.
