Born on May 11, 1927 in Providence. Rose lived a life filled with love and kindness. She was a beloved wife of Edward F. Bucci. She was a devoted mother and grandmother. Her unwavering strength, compassion, and warmth touched the lives of all who knew her.
Rose graduated from Bryant College. She loved being a medical secretary for the pediatric department of Rhode Island Hospital. Rose later enjoyed a secretarial job working for Catherine Naughton Associates. She also was the test chairman for the Smithfield Figure Skating Club.
Throughout her life, Rose kept active. She biked most bike paths in Rhode Island and on Cape Cod. She also enjoyed playing tennis on the neighborhood tennis courts, ice skated and skied. In her later years, she would walk around the block with her husband chatting with neighbors.
Besides her husband of 61 years, she is survived by her children, Mark Bucci and wife Beth, Lisa Airhart and husband Michael, and Edward M. Bucci; grandchildren, Leah Bucci and Sophia Airhart. She also leaves behind several nieces and nephews.
