ROSE (PICARD) BRISSON

Rose-Marie (Picard) Brisson beloved wife of J. Norman Brisson of D'Evan Manor Cranston, passed away on Monday, May 16, 2011. They were married 55 years. She also leaves two daughters: Teresa "Terry" Capracotta and Joyce Berry. Also, there are grandchildren: Susan and Wayne Smith, Stephanie, Kyle and Krystle Berry. She was born on June 15, 1936 and was the daughter of the late Armand and Albina (Paquin) Picard. She was also the sister of the late Edward Picard. Upon graduating from St. Charles School in 1954, she worked for a lawyer in the Turks Head building, in Providence: Daniels and Appliance parts. In 1972, she took a position as manager of Stanley Home Products. In 1982, she began doing bus trips and worked at this until February 2010, when she was diagnosed with terminal cancer. Funeral from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & crematory 1278 Park Avenue Cranston on Saturday at 9:00am followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Charles Borromeo Church 178 Dexter Street, Providence, where Mrs. Brisson was a choir member for many years, at 10:00am. Burial will be private. VISITING HOURS: Friday 6-9pm.
