Rosa (Pagnozzi) Autiello
94 of Naples Florida and formerly of Glocester Rhode Island passed away on January 13, 2025, three days before her 95th birthday. She was the wife of the late Antonio “Tony” Autiello for 72 years. Born in Providence, the daughter of Olando and Eugenia (Ronga) Pagnozzi. She was the sister of the late Alfonso Pagnozzi, Edith Santilli, Mary Martone, Onofrio (Sonny) Pagnozzi, and is survived by sisters Anna Demus, Gloria Grantmerier, Barbara Fiori, and Jennie Mollicone.
Rose worked at Coro Jewelry and eventually was a stay-at-home mother who loved to cook and entertain people. Whether it was in Rhode Island or in Florida, she enjoyed preparing large meals for family and friends and was at her best during the holidays.
She was an avid golfer and member of the Potowomut and Quidnessett Country Clubs. She also played tennis and was a member of Rally Point Tennis Club in Greenville.
Rose was always “moving” and couldn’t stay still even after bringing up their six children. She and Tony enjoyed vacations and golf trips with their many friends. She was a communicant of Saint Eugene’s Church in Chepachet and Saint Peter the Apostle in Naples.
She leaves her sons Anthony Jr. (Deborah), Richard (Monica), Michael, (Lori), and Thomas (Kim), daughter Diane Frenze (Eric), the late Gary Autiello, fourteen grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Mass of Christian Burial on Tuesday, January 21, 2025 at 11am in St. Mary Church, 1525 Cranston Street, Cranston. Her burial will follow in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.
