78, of Sturbridge Ave. Greenville died Sunday October 18, 2009 at the Greenville Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation. She was the wife of Joseph Votolato. Born in Providence she was the daughter of the late John and Elvira (Silva) Mendonsa. Mrs. Votolato was employed by the former Almacs Market in Greenville for 30 years. Besides her husband she is survived by two sons Stephen and his wife Patricia and David Votolato all of Greenville, her granddaughter Stephanie Votolato and two great grandchildren. She was the grandmother of the late David J. Votolato and sister of the late Alfred, Dorothy, John Jr. and Edward Mendonsa. Her funeral will be held on Thursday at 8:15am from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME 1278 Park Ave. Cranston followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Philip's Church, Greenville at 9:30am. Burial will be in the RI Veterans Cemetery, Exeter. VISITING HOURS Wednesday 5-8pm. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Dylan Votolato Scholarship Fund 23 Willow Rd.
