ROSALIE A. (MILANO) MONTI

101, formerly of Warwick, passed away Sunday, April 10, 2011 at St. Elizabeth Home in East Greenwich. She was the beloved wife of the late Michael A. Monti, Sr., former president of the RI Bar Association. Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Pasquale and Rose (Corvese) Milano. Mrs. Monti was a graduate of the former Commercial High School in Providence. She enjoyed traveling with her husband and was a past member of the Metacomet Country Club and Edgewood Yacht Club.

She was the devoted mother of Robert A. Monti, President and owner of BriteSign Awnings and his wife Diane of Norcross, GA and the late Michael A. Monti, Jr., former president of Fram Corporation, and his wife Patricia of Barrington. Rosalie was the loving grandmother of six: Lisa A. Weidenbach; Michele M. Bergmaier; Michael A. Monti, III; David L. Monti; Robert A. Monti, Jr.; and Jill M. Frayne. She is survived by thirteen great grandchildren. She was the dear sister of the late Antonette Milano and Yolanda Ward.

Funeral from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Ave., Cranston on Saturday, April 16th at 9:00 a.m., followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Peter's Church, 350 Fair St., Warwick at 10:00 a.m. Interment will be at St. Ann Cemetery in Cranston.
