Rosa Maria (Cambio) Pescarino

Rosa Maria (Cambio) Pescarino, 84, of North Providence passed away peacefully on Saturday, July 29, 2023. She was the beloved wife of the late Eustachio Elio Pescarino.   Born in Pratella, Caserta Italy she was the daughter of the late Salvatore Cambio and Clorinda Pepe.

When she came to the United States she worked as a talented seamstress.  She later worked for the State of Rhode Island as a caregiver in group homes for disabled adults. She liked helping the clients and doing activities with them. After which she enjoyed a long retirement.

Her family was the joy of her life.  She made beautiful clothing for her children and grandchildren.   She was a kind, happy, energetic person, and she brought a sense of fun to whatever she was doing.  She loved gardening, especially taking care of her flowers.   She took great joy in teaching her children and grandchildren how to cook signature Italian dishes.

Rosa Maria is survived by her loving children Michelle Pescarino, Paula Petrucci and John Pescarino. Cherished Grandchildren Jonathan, Nicola, Emma Petrucci and Nicholas Ianiero. Great grandchildren Emiliano and Alilah-Grace.  Her dear siblings Erminia Montecalvo, the late Rafaela Montecalvo and Antonio Cambio.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Mass of Christian Burial on Wednesday, August 9th at 11 a.m. in Holy Apostles Church, 800 Pippin Orchard Rd., Cranston.  Inurnment will take place at a later date, and visiting hours and flowers are respectfully omitted.
