Ronald A. Zednik, Sr

Ronald A. Zednik, Sr. 91, of Johnston passed away Monday November 4, 2024 at Philip Hulitar Hospice Inpatient Center. He was the beloved husband of Denise “DeDe” (Gauthier) Zednik and the late Dorothy (Russo) Zednik.

Born in Chicago he was the son of the late Laddie and Rose (Vavarik) Zednik.

Ronald worked for the Providence Gas Company for many years and was a United States Navy Korean veteran. He was a lifetime member of the Smithfield Elks. 

He was the devoted father of Ronald A. Zednik, Jr. (Sonya), Thomas W. Zednik (Linda) Ralph P. Zednik (Stefanie) and stepfather of Marlene Macri and the late Debra Paone. He was the loving grandfather of Baily, Jacob, Thomas Jr., Maddax, Dylan, Chavonne, Brittany, Julia and the late Olivia.

Ronald was the dear brother of the late Thomas Zednik.

His funeral will be held on Wednesday November 13, 2024 at 9 am from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory 1278 Park Ave. Cranston followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in Our Lady of Grace Church 15 George Waterman Rd. Johnston at 10 am. Burial with Military Honors will follow in Highland Memorial Park Johnston.

Visiting hours are Tuesday November 12, 2024 from 4 pm – 7 pm.
