RONALD VARTAN TOMASIAN

64, of Cranston, passed away Saturday, May 7, 2011 at West Shore Health Center in Warwick. He was the beloved husband for 18 years of Viviane (Jabagjorian) Tomasian. Born in Providence, he was the devoted son of Annie (Kashmanian) Tomasian of Cranston and the late George Tomasian.

Ronald was an International Coordinator at Johnson & Wales University before retiring. He was a past member of the Board of Trustees and former Sunday school teacher at Sts. Vartanantz Armenian Apostolic Church; a member of Homenetmen; and served in the U.S. Army Reserves.

Besides his wife and mother, he was the devoted father of Ronald Thomas and his wife Tatjana of Scottsdale, AZ; loving grandfather of Justin and Julian; and dear brother of George Tomasian, Jr. of Pawtucket, Deborah Magnan of Warwick and Elizabeth Monteiro and Ruth Moynihan, both of Cranston.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Funeral Service on Thursday at 11 a.m. in Sts. Vartanantz Armenian Apostolic Church, 402 Broadway, Providence, and may call at the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Ave., Cranston on Wednesday 4-8 p.m. Interment will be at North Burial Ground in Providence.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to: Sts. Vartanantz Armenian Apostolic Church, 402 Broadway, Providence, RI 02909.
