RONALD A. PLANTE, SR

76, of Homosassa, FL. passed away on Wednesday August 22, 2012 at HPH Hospice Citrus Care Center in Inverness, FL. He was the husband of Katherine (Vespia) Plante. Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Joseph H. and Lena (Thereault) Plante Sr. Ronald was a U.S. Army Korean War Veteran. He was a foreman for the former Brendt Mfg. Company of Cranston for 24 years retiring in 1995.

Besides his wife he was the father of Cheryl A. Giordano, Lynda J. Palmieri- Klemer, Ronald A. Plante, Jr. and Pauline P. Belmonte; grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was the brother of Richard Plante, Albert Plante and the late Joseph H. Plante Jr. and Anita T. Guerra.

His funeral will be held on Thursday at 9 a.m. from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Ave. Cranston, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Matthew's Church 1291 Elmwood Ave. Cranston at 10 a.m. Interment with Military Honors will be at St. Ann Cemetery in Cranston. Visiting Hours are Wednesday from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m.
