Ronald R. Curtis

71, of Johnston, RI passed away on September 6, 2024 surrounded by his loving family. He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Marie (DeVincenzo) Curtis of Johnston, and his beloved cat, TreetAnn. He was the brother of Ernest Curtis, and his wife Sharon of Pennsylvania, the brother-in-law of Donna and Manuel Roderiques, of Cranston, and the proud uncle of several nieces and nephews, two grandnephews, and one grandniece. Ron was predeceased by his parents, Sylvio and Anna (Santoro) Curtis.Ron grew up in Providence, and was a graduate of Mount Pleasant High School, as a member of the class of 1971. He retired from the RI Department of Corrections, where he worked as a buyer for nearly thirty years. He was an avid bowler, and enjoyed golfing, spending time with friends, and attending car cruises and car shows with his 1988 Mercedes-Benz convertible. The family extends their deepest gratitude to the wonderful nurses, CNAs, doctors, and staff at HopeHealth who cared for Ron during his final months.His funeral will be held on Thursday, September 12, 2024 at 8:45am from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10am in Our Lady of Grace Church, 15 George Waterman Rd, Johnston. Burial will be in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. VISITING HOURS Wednesday from 4-7pm.
