82, of North Providence, a proud Army Veteran, passed away peacefully Wednesday surrounded by his family.
Born in Providence he was the son of the late Ronald N. Arpin Sr. and Maryann (Pichette) Rega.
Ron was a dispatcher for the former Paul Arpin Van Lines for 43 years until retiring.
Ron was married to the love of his life, Joyce (Conca) Arpin, for 58 wonderful years. Their enduring partnership was a testament to their deep love and mutual respect. Together, they built a life filled with joy, laughter, and cherished memories.
Besides his wife he was the dedicated father of Ronald N. Arpin III and his wife Shauna of Dunbarton, NH, Damon Arpin and his wife Gina of Warwick and Kevin Arpin of North Providence; he was the devoted grandfather of Dara, Ronald N. IV, Madeline, Brandon and Rianna Arpin; brother of Cheryl Gaudet and William Arpin both of TX.
Family was the cornerstone of Ron’s life. He was a devoted father to his three sons, who he raised with love and dedication. Ron took immense pride in his role as a grandfather, reveling in every moment spent with his grandchildren. He cherished the relationships he built with his nieces and nephews, always being a source of guidance and support.
Known for his selflessness, Ronald was often the first to lend a helping hand to those in need. His willingness to sacrifice for his family was unwavering, and he instilled in them the importance of compassion, generosity, and resilience.
Ronald’s legacy will live on in the hearts of his family and all who were fortunate enough to know him. He will be deeply missed but forever remembered for his love, kindness, and the countless ways he touched the lives of those around him.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Tuesday, November 26th, at 10am in St. Augustine’s Church, Providence. Burial, with Military Honors, will be in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. Visiting Hours and flowers are respectfully omitted.
