Rocco Tella

70, of Providence, passed away on Thursday, February 26, 2015 at RI Hospital, Providence surrounded by his loving family. He was the beloved husband of Emma (Greggi) Tella. They were married for the past 48 years. He was born in Capriati, Al Volturno, Italy a son of the late Benedetto and Maria (Ferri) Tella.
Besides his beloved wife, he is survived by his loving daughter, Gina Dinis and her husband Joseph of Johnston, his dear brother Nicola Tella of Italy and his cherished grandsons Christopher and Matthew.
Mr. Tella was a loyal member and past chairman of the Board of Recreation of the Santa Maria DiPrata Society , and was also a long standing member of the R.I. Boccia League.
His funeral will be held on Tuesday at 9 am from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory 1278 Park Ave., Cranston followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 am in St. Rocco's Church, Johnston. Burial will take place in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. VISITING HOURS: Monday 4-8. Kindly omit flowers.
