ROCCO A. CONTI

69, of Johnston, died Saturday, May 30, 2009 at Rhode Island Hospital, Providence. Born in Providence, he was a son of the late Joseph and Josephine (Fusco) Conti. Mr. Conti was a textile worker for the former Worcester Company of North Providence for over forty years. He was also a lifelong farmer in Johnston. He is survived by his best friend Nancy A. Swiech. Mr. Conti was the father of Julie Silvia, Vicki Rosa, Lisa D'Antonio, Michelle Poirier and Rachel Conti. He was the grandfather of ten. Rocco was the brother of Anna Companatico, John Conti and the late Benjamin Conti. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Thursday at 10:00 a.m. in St. Rocco's Church, 927 Atwood Avenue, Johnston and may call at the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME, 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston on Wednesday 4-8 p.m. Burial will be in St. Ann's Cemetery, Cranston.
