ROCCO BARTOLOMUCCI

86, of Imperial Ave., Cranston, passed away Saturday, January 14, 2012 at Miriam Hospital in Providence. He was the beloved husband of the late Anna T. (Caracciolo) Bartolomucci and was the compamion of Rita Taraborelli.

Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Joseph and Maria Grazia (Almagno) Bartolomucci.

Rocco was an aircraft engine mechanic at the former Quonset Point Naval Air Station in North Kingstown for 30 years retiring in 1973 and was a World War II U.S. Army veteran. He was a Eucharist Minister at St. Bartholomew Church and a member of St. Bartholomew Church Holy Name Society.

He was the brother of Angela Izzo, Anthony Bartolomucci, Salvatore Bart and the late Domenic Bartolomucci, Anna Viscuglia and Mary Iannuccilli.

Funeral from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Ave., Cranston on Thursday at10 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Bartholomew Church, 305 Laurel Hill Ave., Providence at 11a.m. Interment with military honors will be at St. Ann Cemetery in Cranston.
