Robert & Lucy (Corrigan) Mantia, LTC. US Army Ret.

Lucy, 78, passed away on September 24, 2023. Beloved wife of the late Robert Mantia. Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late James and Mary (Smith) Corrigan Mrs. Mantia was an Elementary School teacher for many years before retiring. Robert, 77, passed away on March 27, 2022. Beloved husband of the late Lucy Mantia. Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Cosmo and Josephine (Centazzo) Mantia. Mr. Mantia served in the US army retiring as a lieutenant colonel.  Lucy and Robert formerly lived in North Kingstown before moving to Fort Myers, FL.

They are survived by their loving children, James Mantia, and Katherine Mantia and her husband James “Jimi” Haibon Jr. Cherished grandparents of Angelina, Angel, Isabella, and Madison.

Visiting hours will be held on Tuesday, November 7, 2023, from 3:00-7:00 p.m. in the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston. Military honors will take place at 3:30p.m., followed by their Funeral Home Service at 7:00 p.m. Burial is kindly omitted.
