Roberta A. (Margerison) Cox

83, of Cranston, passed away on Thursday, March 20, 2025. She was the beloved wife of the late George W. Cox, Jr. Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Edward and Reta (Totten) Margerison.

Roberta was the loving mother of Tracie Lamphere and her husband Buddy of Warwick, Melissa Coulter and her husband William of Cranston and the late Wayne Edward Brown, Jr. She was the cherished grandmother of Jessica Nashed, Ashley Lamphere, the late Patrick W. Coulter and four great-grandchildren. She was the dear sister of Diane Denoncour and the late Carole Moore. She also had many cherished nieces and nephews.

Roberta worked as a Registered Nurse for 40 years at Cranston General Hospital and then finished her career at Downeast Hospital in Machias, Maine. She was a member of Tri-City Elks#14 and enjoyed playing cards with her friends.

Her funeral services are respectfully private.
