ROBERT 'BOB' D. WATTS SR

74, of Cranston, died peacefully at home November 19, 2010, surrounded by his loving family. He was the beloved husband of Joan (Castriotta) Watts. They were in their 50th year of marriage.

Born in Providence, he was the son of the late John and Helen (McGeary) Watts.

Robert was a U.S. Marines Korean War veteran.

He worked at TEPPCO of Providence for 21 years, and Ciba Geigy for 23 years.

He was an avid sports fan and a Eucharistic Minister at Immaculate Conception Church. Bob was a selfless, hard- working man who put the interests of others above that of his own. He enjoyed spending time with his family, including his grandchildren. A special thank you is extended to Dr. Sambandam and his staff, as well as our family and friends who continually came by to visit and play cards.

Besides his wife, he was the devoted father of Robyn Bucci and her husband Jeffrey of Cranston, Jill Santos and her husband Michael of Lincoln and Robert D. Watts Jr. of West Greenwich; his loving grandchildren; Alyssa, Alexandra and Mia Santos, Bianca and Gian Bucci; and dear brother of John Watts of New Mexico, Thomas Watts of Cranston and the late Helen Brown.

His funeral will be held Tuesday at 9:00 a.m. from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORY 1278 Park Ave. Cranston, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in Immaculate Conception Church Oaklawn Ave., Cranston at 10:00 a.m.

Burial with Military Honors will be in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.

VISITING HOURS MONDAY 4-8 p.m.
