ROBERT A. WALSH, SR

Robert A. Walsh, Sr. 53, of Glen Meadows Court, Warwick, died Saturday, December 13, 2008 at Kent County Hospital, Warwick. Born in Providence, he was a son of the late Albert J. and Connie (Randall) Walsh. Mr. Walsh was a truck driver for various companies for thirty-five years and a member of Teamsters Union Local #251. He was a veteran serving in the US Air Force. He is survived by his children, Robert Allan Walsh, Jr., of Providence, Deanna Walsh, of West Warwick, Jonathan Walsh, of North Providence and Heather Walsh of Warwick. Mr. Walsh was the grandfather of two. He was the brother of Thomas Walsh, of Glouster, MA, Deborah Tremblay, Linda Mernick, Ronald Walsh, Doreen Walsh, Michele Bara, all of Cranston and the late Richard and Donna Walsh. Mr. Walsh is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. His funeral service will be held on Saturday at 9:00 a.m. in the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME, 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston. Burial with Military Honors will be in St. Ann's Cemetery, Cranston.
