ROBERT T. SMITH

65, of Wilbur Ave., Cranston passed away Tuesday October 21, 2008 at Rhode Island Hospital in Providence. He was the husband of Gloria (Bergantino) Smith. Born in Providence he was a son of the late Thomas and Madeline (Thompson)Smith. Mr. Smith was a maintenance worker employed by Coral Manufacturing Company and Colonial Knife for 40 years until his retirement. Besides his wife, he is survived by his loving children, Robert Smith, Jr. of Cranston, David Smith of Fairfield, ME and Beth Smith of Warwick. He is also survived by six grandchildren. He was the brother of Thomas Smith of Burrillville, Marion Holgen of No. Kingstown, and Mildred Smith of Wakefield. Funeral from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME 1278 Park Ave., Cranston on Friday at 11:am followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in The Church of St. Mark, Garden City, Cranston at 12 noon. VISITING HOURS: Friday morning 10-11:am. Burial will take place in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.
