ROBERT E. 'BOB' DEL ROSSI

79, of Smithfield, passed away on Monday June 18, 2012 at Bethany Home of Providence. He was the beloved husband of Marjorie (Zucker) Del Rossi. Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Antonio and Mary (Mancini) Del Rossi.

Mr. Del Rossi was the owner of RE Del Rossi & Son Contractors for 35 years and R.D.R. Realty Co. Rentals - Properties. He was Vice President of Timberlane Condo Association for 19 years until November 2010. He was a former Trustee at the Cathedral of SS Peter & Paul and member of the finance committee for many years. He was very active at the Cathedral of SS Peter & Paul for over 30 years including fund raising with his wife and son. Robert was a Eucharistic Minister and taught C.C.D. at St. Michael's Church in Georgiaville for seven years.

He was the father of Robert A. Del Rossi and his wife Melissa of Las Vegas, NV; loving grandfather of Taylor and Nick. He was the brother of the late Henry A. Del Rossi.

His funeral will be held on Thursday at 9 a.m. from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory 1278 Park Ave., Cranston, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at the Cathedral of SS Peter & Paul, Cathedral Square Providence at 10 a.m. Interment will be at St. Ann Cemetery in Cranston.

VISITING HOURS are Wednesday from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
