ROBERT D. MARINELLI

79, of Johnston, passed away on Tuesday January 18, 2011 at the Village at Waterman Lake, Greenville. He was the husband of Joanne (Ionata) Marinelli of Cranston and the late Evelyn (DeAngelis) Marinelli. Robert was born in Providence, the son of the late Nicola and Eva (Lutrario) Marinelli. Mr. Marinelli was the owner and President of Viro Creations, Inc. Besides his wife he is survived by his loving daughters, Leslie Benson and her husband William of Cumberland, Valerie Granata and her husband Ronald of Cranston, and his stepdaughter, Patricia Yanikoski and her husband Joseph of MA. He was also the cherished grandfather of David, Joseph, Lauren Granata, Michael Yanikoski and was the brother of Arthur Marinelli of FL and the late Ernest Marinelli. His funeral will be held on Saturday at 9 am from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORY 1278 Park Ave., Cranston followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 am in St. Mary's Church, Cranston St. Cranston. Burial will take place in St. Ann's Cemetery, Cranston. VISITING HOURS: Friday 4-8 pm.
