ROBERT MICHAEL LANCELLOTTI
Robert M.Lancellotti, 86, of Setian Circle, Johnston, passed away Friday, February 27, 2009 at Roger Williams Medical Center in Providence. He was the husband of M. Constance (DeNuccio) Lancellotti.
Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Luca and Michelina (Croce) Lancellotti. He was a lifelong competitive weightlifter & bodybuilder and founded Lance Bar Bell Company. Robert worked for the Town of Johnston Highway Department for 23 years before retiring, and also was a pipe fitter for many years.
Besides his wife, he is survived by his children, Dr. Michael A. Lancellotti of Scituate, Roberta M. Caccia of Glocester, David C. Lancellotti of Scituate and Robert T. Lancellotti of East Killingly, CT and his grandchildren, Benjamin, Christopher, Talia, David II and Katie. He was the brother of Concetta Price and Antonetta Zayat, both of North Providence , Gloria D. MacKay of ME., and the late Rachel DePace, Marie Masello, Theresa DellaGrotta, Flagra Cavallaro, Peter, Fritz, Dr. William E. and Richard Lancellotti.
His funeral will be held on Wednesday at 8:15 a.m. from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME 1278 Park Ave., Cranston, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Robert Bellarmine Church, Johnston at 10 a.m. Burial will be in Highland Memorial Park, Johnston.
