ROBERT J. EAGER

69, of Cranston, passed away peacefully on Tuesday December 18, 2012 at Kent County Hospital, Warwick. He was the beloved husband of Judith (Smith) Eager. Born in North Carolina, he was the son of the late Robert and Teresa (Chalifoux) Eager.

Robert worked for General Dynamics as a machinist for over 28 years until his retirement. He was also a United States Army Veteran.

Besides his wife, he is survived by his loving children, Robert J. Eager of Manchester, NH, Wendy A. Vanzant and her husband Robert of Derry, NH, and Amy M. Conn and her husband Eric of Cranston; his grandchildren, Katie Jolicoeur, Savannah Vanzant, Hannah Conn, and Benjamin Conn; his great-grandchild Kyran Jolicoeur; his sister Barbara A. Stebbins of West Warwick.

A funeral service will be held at a later date. His burial will be private.
