86, of Narragansett, formerly of Oxford, MA and Thompson, CT passed away on Sunday, November 27, 2011 at South Bay Manor, South Kingstown. He was the beloved husband of the late Catherine (Hogan) Mousseau. Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Emile J. and Alice (Driscoll) Mousseau. Dr. Mousseau practiced dentistry in Oxford, MA from 1952 to 1989. He was also Chief Dental Surgeon at Hubbard Regional Hospital, Webster, MA. Dr. Mousseau was a Graduate of LaSalle Academy, College of the Holy Cross, Class of 1946, and Georgetown University, School of Dentistry, Class of 1951. He was a member of the Massachusetts Dental Society, and the American Dental Association. Dr. Mousseau was a communicant of St. Mary's Star of the Sea Church. He was a US Navy veteran serving as an intelligence officer during WW II. Dr. Mousseau was a member of the Dunes Club in Narragansett.
He is survived by his loving children, John R. Mousseau and his wife Pamela of Maplewood, NJ, Ann M. Noack and her husband Tom of Midlothian, VA, Peter E. Mousseau and his wife Karen Eberle of Windsor, CT, and David E. Mousseau and his wife Mary Lezon of Chicago, IL. Robert was the cherished grandfather of Christopher, Catherine, and Emily Noack, and Kelly, Allison and Jane Mousseau.
Funeral from the Nardolillo Funeral Home, SOUTH COUNTY CHAPEL, 1111 Boston Neck Road, (Rt.1A) Narragansett on Saturday at 8:15 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30 a.m. in St. Mary's Star of the Sea Church, 864 Point Judith Road, Narragansett. Interment will be in Rhode Island Veterans Cemetery, Exeter.
